Hello SMART people. Is it curtains for this notebook drive? Long tests always fails
at 80% with "servo/seek failure".

Yes, sorry. Without hard evidence I would nevertheless venture the claim
that those tests don't find every possible fault or problem, but if they
do find one, it's exit stage left if the result is "fail" of any kind.

Time for a new disk. If under warranty the manufacturer should just swap
it for a new one.

Having seen mention of it in the archives, I'm now donating humble CPU
